About Us

Our Approach

Here at Bridge, we seek to connect the various groups that make up the cultural landscape of Budapest.

This happens through open discussions about issues that have an impact on us all. In addition, we organize extra events which help attendees to learn more about Hungary, and help to build a sense of community.

Our Story

Budapest Bridge began in 2016 under the name BME Bridge, where it acted as an intercultural discussion group for those attending the Budapest University of Technology and Education (BME).

Since then, we have expanded our focus, hoping to draw participants from the various age groups, occupations, and backgrounds that are represented in the diverse city of Budapest. Our new name, Budapest Bridge, reflects this focus.

Meet the Team

Budapest Bridge is a multicultural community which organises free events for everyone who wishes to discuss exciting topics, explore Hungary, and make new friends.

However, none of this would be possible without the time and effort devoted by our volunteer organizers. Our team of organizers consists of individuals from different countries and with different backgrounds who work and study in Budapest. All of us on the team work to promote the mission of Bridge: to connect the various groups that make up the cultural landscape of Budapest, and provide opportunities to learn from and teach one another.
